And Romans 6:6 speaks of “the body ruled by sin.” The flesh-and-blood existence we lead on this earth is shaped by our sinful, corrupt nature. It’s our “earthly nature” that produces the list of sins in Colossians 3:5. The Bible speaks of “sinful flesh” in Romans 8:3. Sin is part of the very fiber of our being. Humanity is sinful, not just in theory or in practice but by nature. The Bible explains the reason for the trouble. It is so sadly there, so abundantly there, that if you cannot detect it, you are deceived.” Charles Spurgeon said, “As the salt flavors every drop in the Atlantic, so does sin affect every atom of our nature. The news is filled with tragic examples of mankind acting badly. No one has to teach a child to lie or be selfish rather, we go to great lengths to teach children to tell the truth and put others first. When we speak of the sin nature, we refer to the fact that we have a natural inclination to sin given the choice to do God’s will or our own, we will naturally choose to do our own thing. The sin nature is that aspect in man that makes him rebellious against God.

I came out of that place feeling so bad for the little boy. I suppose that I have been inside of my home for too long and I got a glimpse of the hatred many Blacks now have for ALL white people. The nurse shook her head and said that she was not supposed to do that but that she would do it for me. I went back to the nurse and told her what the lady said. She said “I don’t do that! Go ask a nurse!” I told her that the nurse told me to speak with her about having the results sent to my doctor. She said “WAIT.” I stood there for at least 10 minutes and she finally asked what I wanted. Then I signaled her that I needed her assistance. I went to ask her my question and she would not look at me. She told me that the check-in lady would take care of that for me. I told a nurse that my doctor wanted all results sent to him.
The father ran over to him and turned him around and told him to stay put in a harsh tone.Īfter the doctor saw me and I had the chest x-ray and blood work, I was getting ready to leave. Just then I saw the woman behind the glass who checked people in (she was Black) and she got the attention of the parents and looked my way and then at the little boy, showing the parents that their son was interacting with me. When his parents went up to sign in, the child was sitting by himself and waiting for them. There was a Black family across from me with an adorable little boy – probably about 3 years old. I was sitting in a chair waiting to be called.
Having been inside for so many months, and then experiencing what I did at the urgent care was a real education for me.
I smile and say hi to people as I pass them. I am a “people person.” I have always been this way. My doctor was double-booked and told me to go to an urgent care, which I did. I also have severe asthma, and wearing the “mask” actually brings on asthma attacks. I have autoimmune illnesses and therefore a compromised immune system. My husband does our grocery shopping and I do my research and writing. Then I will show what the Bible says about SIN.įor the last year and a half, I have been cloistered in our home approximately 99% of the time. I never forgot this and lived my life accordingly.įirst, a story from just a few days ago which shows what CRT (Critical Race Theory) is doing to this world in these end times.
